Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence

Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence’s Legal Resource Project provides legal technical assistance and legal crisis intervention in cases involving intimate partner violence. Survivors of intimate partner violence face a myriad of legal challenges, including but not limited to access to representation in protection order cases, divorce, housing related issues and other civil matters. Legal referrals for services are made through our DV programs statewide.

Survivors of domestic violence who have questions about housing can call or text the Legal Housing Hotline at (317) 762-5115.

The application is only available to domestic violence programs that ICADV works with. It is not open to survivors directly. Survivors must work with a victim advocate to fill it out. The application seeks to capture information such as, nature of legal assistance sought, basic demographic information, brief description of the legal issue. It takes about 15 minutes to complete the application.
