Artificial Intelligence Restrictions:
Accessing or using ILH by mechanical, programmatic, robotic, scripted, or any other automated means is strictly prohibited. Unless otherwise authorized by Indiana Legal Help, Inc. in writing, use of ILH is permitted only by individual users engaged in active user sessions and may not be collected by automated methods. Neither ILH nor the ILH content may be used in conjunction with generative artificial intelligence solutions.
User Content and Posting Requirements
You may be able to submit photos, written posts, personal information, and other materials on certain areas of ILH. When you do, you agree that:
Content Standards:
You will not post content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, invasive of privacy, threatening, harassing, abusive, hateful, racist, infringing, pornographic, violent, or otherwise objectionable.
You will not post content about anything you are contractually obligated to keep private, including personal information about any individual.
You will not impersonate any person or organization or misrepresent an affiliation.
You will not post content containing viruses, corrupted files, or programs that may adversely affect ILH.
User Content License
When you publicly display, publish, or post photos, written content, and other materials and information (“User Content”) on certain areas of ILH, you agree that Indiana Legal Help, Inc. shall have the unrestricted right to use, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, distribute, create derivative works from, and otherwise make use of such User Content in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed, for any purpose whatsoever, without payment or attribution to you or any third party.
You represent and warrant that you have the full right, power, and authority to assign such User Content to Indiana Legal Help, Inc. and that such assignment does not violate any third-party rights.
This means: When you share content with us that people outside ILH can see – like posting on our social media – you agree we can do whatever we want to with it. You’re also promising that you have the right to give us this content and that giving it to us won’t violate anyone else’s rights.
Mobile Device Use
The use of ILH on a mobile device requires a mobile device and wireless mobile data service, which must be obtained from your wireless carrier and may require internet access from your service provider. You are responsible for obtaining and paying for such additional services and obtaining a suitable device, including all related usage charges.
This means: If you use ILH on your phone, you need to pay for your own phone service and data plan. We don’t pay for your phone bills.
You may be required to send and receive, at your cost, electronic communications related to ILH. If you do not have an unlimited wireless mobile data plan, you may incur additional charges from your wireless service provider. You are solely responsible for obtaining any additional subscription or connectivity services or equipment necessary to access ILH, including payment of all third-party fees.
This means: Using our website might use up your data or cost you money for texts. Check with your phone company about your data plan and charges. You pay for all phone and internet costs.
Text Messaging and Email Services
Indiana Legal Help, Inc. may respond to your questions and requests through text messages and emails when you initiate contact with us. We only send text messages and emails in response to your specific questions or requests for legal assistance.
If you provide your phone number when contacting us, you consent to receive response text messages at that number. If you provide your email address, you consent to receive response emails at that address. These communications will be limited to answering your questions, providing requested legal information, and following up on services you have requested.
Consent to receive response communications is not required to use ILH. Message and data rates may apply for text responses.
We do not guarantee the availability or performance of text or email communications, and you understand that transmission delays and message failures may occur. Not all carriers support text messaging and supported carriers may change from time to time.
Online Feedback
Indiana Legal Help, Inc. provides opportunities for users to give online feedback so that you may comment on the materials you find on ILH. This feedback is always optional, and the purpose is to improve ILH for other users.
You acknowledge and agree that if you submit any feedback to us, you grant to us a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, fully-paid, royalty-free, sub-licensable and transferable license under any and all intellectual property rights you own or control to use, reproduce, communicate to the public, edit, translate, perform, display, distribute, modify, adapt, make, sell, transmit, license, transfer, create derivative works from, and otherwise use the feedback for any purpose.

The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods and the United Nations Convention on the Limitation Period in the International Sale of Goods are hereby expressly excluded and will not apply to these Terms.

You agree to indemnify and hold Indiana Legal Help, Inc., its parents, subsidiaries, officers, employees, agents, contractors, partners, and each of their officers, employees, agents, and volunteers harmless from and against any claims, damages, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs, related to your violation of these Terms, any violations thereof by your dependents, or which otherwise arise from your use of ILH and/or from the User Content you submitted, posted, or otherwise provided.
