Hendricks County Pro Bono Program, Inc.
The Hendricks County Pro Bono Program, Inc. is a program that assists no income and low-income individuals with consultations and legal representation. We have two (2) programs, namely a pro bono program and a modest means program. The pro bono program assists persons by providing free legal services. The modest means assists persons that do not qualify for the pro bono program but are still of a lower income level by providing legal services at a rate of no more than $50/hour. The expenses of cases must be paid by the applicant in both pro bono and modest means representation. The program is run by volunteers and there are not attorneys on staff to answer legal questions. In order to obtain legal assistance, an applicant is put on a list to wait for a volunteer that can assist them. For this reason, applicants are encouraged to apply to all pro bono programs that service Hendricks County, Indiana, so they can get legal help through the program that can help soonest.
