Civil Protection Order Clinic

The Indiana University Maurer School of Law Civil Protection Order Clinic (CPOC) specializes in helping individuals in obtaining and / or retaining civil protection orders by assisting in preparing the required forms and in representing clients in court for civil protection order cases. Law faculty attorneys and law students (under the supervision of the faculty) represent clients who need legal assistance in obtaining and / or renewing civil protection orders (CPO’s). The CPOC does not generally assist with family law cases or litigation.
